Learning to read requires both decoding skills (phonics) and visual memory skill. Help your child to prepare to read, by labelling important things and places in their home.

Each card has both the written word (using NSW foundation font) and a line drawing graphic to assist with visual discrimination. The cards can be placed on the appropriate area within your home to reinforce the meaning of the written word.

LETTER STARS are designed to teach initial letter sounds. This fantastic resource, enables the teacher/parent to introduce each letter on it’s own, using the star design and colour to assist early letter learning.
