A fun way to reinforce the missing vowel sound. The players have to ask each other which vowel sound they need, or for a graphic/word that matches the short vowel sound that they are holding - to make a pair.
This game is very flexible as it can also be used for Memory Match, matching the vowel sound to the graphic.
Go Fish/Memory Match is an easy way for teachers to ensure that the students have the correct sounds, and sound knowledge of the short vowel sounds.
